3. On-Device Processing

Many core features are processed locally on your device, including:

• On-device OCR using Apple Vision frameworks
• Local storage and organization of your scanned files

Your scanned files remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them, or use features that require cloud or AI processing as described below.

4. AI and Cloud Processing

If you use AI-powered features (such as document analysis, summaries, Ask AI, translation, or key information extraction), relevant portions of your document text and/or images may be sent to third-party AI service providers for processing. These requests are made only when you actively use those features.

We recommend that you do not scan or submit highly sensitive personal information unless you understand and accept the risks of AI processing.

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Secure transmission using industry-standard protocols where network communication is required
• Local encrypted storage where supported by the operating system
• Limiting data retention to what is necessary to provide the App and its features

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
