Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Scanner mobile application ("App") operated by us ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the App. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Scanner is a mobile application that allows users to:

• Scan documents, receipts, IDs, and other images using the device camera
• Detect document edges, enhance scans, and organize files
• Extract text using OCR and export to PDF, Word, Excel, and other formats
• Use optional AI-powered features such as summaries, Q&A, translation, and key information extraction
• Access additional PRO features through subscription or one-time purchase

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID used for purchases. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your use of the App on your device.

4. PRO Subscriptions and Purchases

The App offers optional PRO access through auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase:

• Yearly PRO: Billed annually unless canceled
• Monthly PRO: Billed monthly unless canceled
• Lifetime PRO: One-time purchase for long-term access, subject to App availability

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.

Any free trial or promotional offer, if provided, will convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the documents, images, and content you scan or create using the App ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that:

• You have the legal right to scan, store, process, and export the content
• Your use of the content does not violate any law or third-party rights
• You do not upload or process unlawful, harmful, or infringing material

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your User Content solely as necessary to provide the App and its features, including optional AI processing when you request it.

6. AI Features Disclaimer

AI-generated summaries, answers, translations, and extracted information are provided for convenience only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. AI output does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. You should independently review all scanned documents and AI results before relying on them.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App:

• For any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations
• To scan, store, or distribute content you do not have the right to use
• To attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the App or its services
• To abuse, overload, or interfere with the App, servers, or networks
• To circumvent subscription, usage limits, or security measures
• To harass, harm, or impersonate others

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, software, trademarks, logos, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, including features available under free or PRO plans. We may update pricing, subscription offerings, or feature limits with notice where required by law or platform policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• OCR or AI results will be accurate or complete
• Exported files will meet your specific requirements
• Defects will be corrected

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply in your jurisdiction, those laws shall prevail to the extent required.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
